AIRPORT FOR PAHIATUA.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, this day. Representatives of local bodies and delegates of the Wairapara Aero Club on Saturday, discussed the provision of an aerodrome in the vicinity of Pahiatua. They inspected a proposed site and it was resolved to -ask the Minitser of Defence to arrange for an official inspection of the property. Joint action may then be taken by the local bodies, under the recent legislation to acquire suitable land for an airport.
