CYCLING ACCIDENTS.
COLLISION AT MANUREWA. MAN SEVERELY INJURED. As the result of a collision between a motor cycle and a bicycle on the Great South Road near Manure wa, yesterday morning, the rider of the motor cycle, Mr. Charles Barratt, a farmer at Takanini, received serious injuries to his chest. He was thrown from his machine and fell against the handlebars. '< He was taken to the hospital, and his condition to-day ie reported to be serious.
LAD RUNS INTO POLE.
A lad, David Rhodes, the eon of Mr. L. E. Rhodes, Mayor of Mount Albert, who lives in Onslow Road, broke his collar-bone as the result of colliding with a telegraph pole in Dominion Road yesterday morning. He was picked up by passersby and was taken to the hospital. Hie condition to-day is not serious.
