Old crankcase oil can be used to advantage to preserve the bodies of farm wagons, carts, manure spreaders and similar equipment. It can be put on easily with an old broom and it costs practically nothing-except a few minute? to put on. It will prevent the rain from soaking in and rotting the wood, greatly lengthening the life of the machine. How are you off for collars? If it is anything in stiff or semi-soft material, Fowlds are bound to have them, in quarter sizes.— (Ad.)
