Association protested in a resolution against the failure to restore the salary "cuts" or suitably to re-grade the service, and also protested emphatically that the creating of a special class would give no relief to the hugo majority of 2000 officers now on £295, or to 1000 officers on £240. It endorsed the action of the executive, and pledged its members to support further action necessary to improve salary conditions.
