MAUNGAKIEKIE TOURNAMENT.
TITIRANGI CUP FINAL,
The Maungakiekie Club's open tournament at Titirangi concluded yesterday. In the final of the principal event, the Titirangi Cup contest, A. B. Joplin beat X. McLean, 3 up and 2. In the final of the No. 7 group match W. ,T. Thompson beat L. Rogers, 5 up and 4. The results of the other group matches were published yesterday. A four-ball match was played in the afternoon, the winners being R. O. Gardner and F. W. Greenbank, who finished S up on bogey. • At the conclusion of the afternoon's play the president of the club, Mr. \Y. J. Thomson. presented the prizes won during the tournament. Following were the winners: Open Championship Medal. — W. S. Ralph: runner-up. K. D. Wright. Titirangi Cup.—A. B. Joplin ; runner-up, X. McLean. First Medal Handicap.—J. Hosking. First Bogey Handicap.—A. H. Wagson. Second Medal Handicap.—H. M. Rogerson. Second Bogey Handicap.—L. Norton.
