SUDAN MISSION.
Under the auspices of the Auckland branch of the League of Sudan Helpers, a conference was held at Howick over the Labour Day week-end. An illustrated lantern lecture on the work of the mission in Africa was given in the Presbyterian Church, and the Sunday evening service was also conducted by members of the league. The Rev. E. R. Harris spoke on "The Misisonary Call," and an address was also given by Mr. H. G. Fountain.
