ilie athletic meeting arranged to be held at Fapatoetoc on Saturday lias attracted ji-8 competitors, and .'I.'SJ nominations have been received for -24 events. The president (Air. \\. J. llindmaii) states Unit nil the Auckland track champions will be competing, including .T. \Y. Savidan, the New Zealand distance champion. The preparations to the tracks are being made With a steam roller, by the co-operation of the Town Board, and seating accommodation is to be provided for 400 people.
