STOLEN FURS.
MEN ADMIT RECEIVING,
In the Supreme Court this afternoon, James Dixon, a labourer, aged 34, and James McDonald, boilermaker (39), pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving, and not guilty to theft. Accused were charged with breaking and entering the shop of the Moose Fur Trading Co., in Upper Queen Street, on October 1, and stealing furs, etc., valued at £89 15/6, the property of F. W. Prouting. Mr. Justice Herdman ordered accused to appear for sentence on November 8.
