YE OLDE PIRATE SHIPPE.
The evening of Labour Day was chosen for the opening dance of the season on board Ye Olde Pirate Sliippe, at Milford. The Versatile Pirate Band played the latest cabaret items. An exhibition dance (which was recalled) was given by Miss Patten and Mr. Colin Shorter, and later a pianoforte solo by Mr. Ivan Perrin, who with Mrs. Ivan Perrin has recently come over from Sydney Amongst the dancers were: Mrs. B. Adams, electric blue satin, period frock and ivory lace; Miss Bose Wake, salmon pink georgette and lace; Miss L T na Harris, primrose georgette; Miss Molly Goodwin, sea-green crepe de chine; Miss Patten, white crepe de chine, red shoulder spray; Mrs. Ivan Perrin, ivory floral lace over green; Miss S.
