PINNED UNDER CAR.
WOMAN AND TWO MEN. FORTUNATE DISCOVERY. DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day." When returning to Cambridge yesterday afternoon a party of Cambridge people came upon an upturned motor car in the centre of the road near IToraliora. On investigating they found two men and a woman pinned underneath. One man and the woman were held fast by the back of the front seat, which was resting on their necks, while the driver, Mr. Harper, of Hamilton, was held by the side of the car. The car had to be raised by means of jacks before its occupants could be freed, it was then seen tlnvt the driver was seriously injured, and an ambulance was brought from Hamilton to take him to the Waikato Hospital. Tho young woman and the other man were badly shaken, but were able to go home. The car had skidded before it capsized. Had Mr. Morris and his party not come along when they did it seems ceitaiu that Mr. Harper would have lost his life and that serious injury would have been done to the other two.
