CHEESE EXPORT TRADE.

Some factories in. the Wellington district that have effected sales of cheese for outputs up to the end o£ December at B%d f.o.b. (says the "Evening Post") were given the option or supplying ' standard or "full cream"' cheese, v>iiich at this price will represent an estimated return of %d per lb extra on the pay-out. Advances made on. consignment of cheese stand at 8&d per lb, equal to 92/6 per cwt on the London market. It has now been ascertained that waxing of cheese for export ihas effected a saving of 1% per . cent shrinkage in place of 2% per cent on clothbound cheese, equal to about 1/ per cwt.
