MATWGAKIEKIE CLUB'S TOURNEY. TITIRANGI CUP CONTEST.' The Maungakiekie Club's open golf tournament was continued at Titirangi to-day. Despite the threatening weather competitors got an early start. Results of the first round of the Titi? rangi Cup competition were as follow:— , B. Menzies beat R. J. Hamilton, 4 and 3; N. McLean beat J. Francis at the 19th green; G. Tallis beat W. J. Thorap son at the 21st green; R. McChrystall beat P. Harrison, 3 and 2; C. Robinson beat C. Bailey, 2 and 1; J- R- Neill beat L. Rogers, 4 and 3; A. B. Joplin beat J. Hosking, 1 up; J. Murray beat T.
