WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
COOPER—SAINTY. St.. David's Church was chosen for the wedding on Tuesday of Miss Gladys May Sainty, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sainty, of Glen Road, Stanley Bay, and Mr. William Gordon Cooper, eldest sou of Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper, of Epsom. The Rev. J. A. Thompson officiated. The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown of eouple shell pink satin, the skirt having frilled flounces cut in peacock fashion and fastened at the waist with a paste buckle. The embroidered billowy tulle veil formed the train, which was worked in pink and silver thread and held in place by silver ribbons and orange-blos-som clusters. She carried a shower.bouquet of pink flowers. The bridesmaids "were Misses Izold St. Clair and Margaret Beale. Both frocks were fashioned alike in primrose georgette, with flared frilled uneven skirte and waist sashes. Beige hats with eatin ribbone, and shower bouquets toning with their frocks .were carried. The little flower girl, Molly Mather, was in a smocked frock of pale pink satin worked in paler shaded ribbons. Mr. Charles Read was best man and Mrs. Stanley Sainty was groomsman. A reception was held at the Penrith rooms. Mrs. Sainty wore mole embroidered silk marocain, brown hat and furs, and carried pastel toned bouquet. Mrs. Cooper wore black pleated crepe fleuri, bangkok hat trimmed with silver, and crimson bouquet.
