PARIS' LATEST CRAZE.
" THIGHLET" OF PEARLS. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, October 15. The most audacious autumn fashion has been revealed in the shape of a circle of pearls above the knee, and visible when damsels sit cross-kneed. Habitues of the Champs Elysee, the Bois de Boulogne and even boulevardiers are embarrassed to find a fitting name for the ornament, though "thighlet" has been proposed.
