(Dy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. On the oc-casion of the closing of the Waihi golf season, trophies were presented by Mr. C. V. Clark, the club captain, as< follows: —Club championship, G. R. Cnllen; ladies' championship, Mrs. Bell; flag matches, Mrs. A. H. V. Morgan and R. G. Haszard ; men's junior championship, T. Clarke; section play, G. R. Cullen, T. Clarke; runner-up bogey competitions, W. Hollis and J. Whitehead ; approaching and putting, Mrs. Whitehead and Gco. Barron; anil president's foursomes, G. R. Cullen and E. H. I'ayze. The closing competitions were won as follows: —Putting, Miss Butcher and M. l< , . Hnszard; driving, H. V. Morgan and Miss E. C. Westbury.
