Diplomas have boon granted bv the examining board of the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture to Messrs, T, W. (Ivaitaia), E. A. Herd (Onehunga), K. R. Macdonald (Whangarei), S. Wiloher, D, Smith and J. W. Elmslie (Auckland) and Miss E. F. Kibblewhito (Auckland). Miss Ivibblewhite's diploma, is the first granted to a lady in New Zealand. The period laid down by the Act of 1027 jn respect of applicants for diplomas who are over forty years of ago expires on Monday next, October 21,
