Dallard, Assistant-Public Service Commissioner, left for Wellington by the express train kst evening. Mr. H. Hine (Te Kuiti), Mr. Wm. Hopkirk (Wellington), Mr. Iv. Bcvin, Mr, J. W. Williams (Hamilton) are at the Central Hotel. Mr. H. Brisco (Matamata), Mr. G. 11. Wanstone (Dargaville), Mr. C. MeCormick (Coromandel), Mr. F. Millar (Wellington) arc at the Royal Hotel. Mr. Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors, and Mr. A. E. Missen, director of the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Company, Ltd., are in Auckland at the Commercial Hotel. Mr. J. W. Bailey, who is elocutionary judge at the Auckland competitions this week, and Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. R. E, Guthebrtson, of Wanganui, are in Auckland, at Hotel Auckland. Arrivals at the Star Hotel are: Mr. W. Vosper (Cambridge), Mr. R. C. Somervillo (Wellington), Mr. J. M. Mullin (Oamaru). Mr. D. C. Toole (Wanganui), Mr. D. McKenzio (Palmerston North), Mr. H. T. Stubberfield (Christclxurch). Mr. L. A. Paish, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, who has boon in Auckland attending the conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, left for Wellington by train last evening. He was accompanied by Mrs. Paish. Mr. C. P. Agar, president of the New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Norton Francis, president of the Canterbury Chamber, * Mr. A. H. Allen, president of the Dunedin Chamber, who have been attending the annual conference in Auckland, left for the South by train last evening.
