As membership of the Municipal Association of New Zealand is restricted to boroughs, cities and town districts, the Auckland Transport Board is seeking the co-operation of the Christchurch Transport Board with a view to the constitution of the association being altered so as to allow of the membership of transport boards. This step is being taken as many of the municipalities conduct tramway undertakings and tho advantages of affiliation are obvious.
