UNUSUAL NIGHT VISITOR.
OPOSSUM FOUND IN KITCHEN.
When the proprietors of the Point Erin Park tea kiosk opened their premises for business this morning they were almost literally met at the door by their first guest—an opossum. They were kept awake' at night by what they thought was a cat clawing over the roof near the chimney. It was the ' opossum, which must have overbalanced and fallen down into the kitchen. It'had made frantic attempts to get back the way it had come, for the flue round the base where the chimney joins the stove was torn out. When the caretaker arrived the animal was captured and taken to the Zoo.
