McDonald, aged 47,- was charged before Mr. Levvey, S.M;, with being an incorrigible rogue, in that he was found by night Unlawfully on enclosed premises. .'-.■': "Accused. was found, on the premises of Mr.; Young, g.M.,' in. Cashmere,"-said Chief ; Detective Carroll. VHe had his shoes off, and it is hard to say what'his intention was. He was secured by Mr. Young. He has a long-list.. For one spell he was in the Salvation Army Home, but he was a very unsatisfactory inmate." The Magistrate: Accused,."l think-*you should have the opportunity-to-learn the habit of work. You are sentenced to 12 months' hard labour.
