ELECTRICIANS' PETITION.
AN INQUIRY RECOMMENDED

WELLINGTON, Monday.
"We are of opinion that; the,evidence submitted clearly indicates the need for further investigation," reported the Public Petitions Committee,, when reporting to-night on the petition of B. Adam, and two others, of Auckland, who asked for reinstatement .at the electrical sub-station at Penrose, with compensation, and for an inquiry into alleged irregularities.; The petition was referred to the Government for inquiry.
