BOUND FOR WHANGAPARAOA
HULL OF THE WAINUI. USE AS BREAKWATER. Stripped of everything of value, the shell of the former Union Co.'s steamer Wainui left Auckland this morning for Whangaparaoa 3 in town of the tug Kumeu. For several weeks past the Wainui has been in the hands of the shipbreakers, who, after salving everything worth worth while, sold her to Mr. R. Shakespeare, of Wharfgaparaoa.
