BETTINGTON BOWLS WELL. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) SYDNEY, October 13. For the first grade cricket championships yesterday the wickets were damp and tricky. Batting for Balmain against Mosman, Jackson made 07. For Gordon, against University, Macartney made 57 and retired with an injured leg. Kellewav made 50. For St. George, against North Sydney, Fairfax compiled 47. Bowling for Pallington against Waverley, Bettington took seven wickets for 68.
