Feeling reference to the death of the president, Mr. H. P. Caughey, was made at this morning's annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce by the vice-president, Mr. C. P. Agar, of Cliristchurcli. The chambers, he said, had suffered a great loss as the result of the death of Mr. Caughey, who was ill on the occasion of the last conference. Delegates stood in silence out of respect for the late president.
