HOLIDAY UNIFORMS.
Policemen in Brazil's capital of Bio de Janeiro may be known to be on duty when they wear brassards of black and white stripes on their left arms. Off duty they wear the regulation uniform tut discard the brassard. Cotton khaki constitutes ordinary wear, but on holidays they blossom out in dark blue with white spats, white gloves and a cap band of white leather.
