THE GREAT RESTORER.
- NEED OF ADOLESCENCE. , A little folder on sleep issued recently by the United States Children's Bureau calls special attention to the importance of longer hours of sleep for the adolescent boy and girl, 13 to 15 years of age, than are needed by children a year or two younger. Everyone knows the importance of prolonged sleep for babies and young children, which is necessitated by their rapid growth; but; the folder points out, many parents are unaware that the rapid growth and development of adolescence increases the need for eleep, and-that children at this period are often listless and unable to concentrate on their lessons simply because they do not get the extra sleep they need. The folder is entitled '"Why Sleep? Sleep Helps Children Grow."
