BOUNTY TO BE PAID. EXPORTATION OF HIDES. EXPERIMENTAL SHIPMENT. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Commissioner of State Forests (the Hon. W. B. Tarernev) announces that the question of wild pig destruction was recently considered by Cabinet, which approved the payment of a bounty of 1/ per snout for all wild pigs destroyed. The snouts must be produced ns evidence of destruction, and must be those of wild pigs. .Simultaneously, experimental shipments of wild pig hides are being organised, to test their commercial properties for fine leather work overseas. The-State Forest Service would be pleased to hear from hunters who are prepared to collect and submit consignments.
