A.R.L. AFFAIRS. ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY. The Auckland.Rugby League Management Committee met'last evening, Mr. George Rhodes presidiug. • It was decided to ask O'Brien (Marist) and Moore (Ponsonby) _to explain a complaintthat insulting language was used to a line umpire on Saturday. The request of the New Zealand Council that players engaged in teams opposing South Sydney during their visit, here be insured under the AJI.L. at the council's expense was adopted. The committee referred to the junior management board the suggestion of the N,ew Zealand. League for the arrangement of junior fixtures for the forthcoming i series of international inter-club matches in. this connection. Various 'arrangements for the Northland v. South Auckland match on Saturday were discussed. The Papatoetoe Town Board sought the co-operation of the League in a gala day attraction at the- opening of the band rotunda there on December 14 in the Wallace Road Park Reserve. The matter was referred to the Papatoetoe League Club for report. . ' A motion of condolence in the usual manner was passed to the relatives of the late A.
