STRUCK BY LORRY.
YOUTH DIES OF SHOCK
THROWN INTO WATERTABLE,
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. Sidney Pry or, aged 16, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pryor, of Studholme Street, Morrinsvflle, was killed at 5.30 last evening through being struck by a lorry driven by Conrad H. Lewis, of Morrinsville. The accident occurred In daylight at an intersection of Anderson and Studholme Streets. Pryor, who was riding a bicycle, was turning into Studholme Street on his way home from work, and the collision occurred in the middle of the road. Pryor was carried some distance on the front of the lorry, and then thrown into a watertable. He was picked up by five men and taken to a private hospital, but he died a quarter of an hour after his admission. A doctor states that apparently no bones were broken, but the lad died of shock.
