HOT HATS.
"Hot under the collar" will have to give way to "hot under the hat," according to a recent experiment in London. On a hot day the temperature inside various kinds of hats was measured. Under a man's black silk liat the thermomenter ran up to 103, which was the highest found. A man's black bowler and a lady's blue cloche hat ranked next, with a temperature of 98.
