"AT HOME."
The Amateur Operatic Society's Hall was the scene of a very bright gathering last evening when the staff of the New Zealand Insurance Compfmy held its annual "At Home" Blue and gold streamers, formed the decorations in the hall, and the shaded lights were .also inost effective. Excellent music, sup plied by' Mr. Hubert Hoffman's orchestra was much .appreciated by the dancers. Amongst those who were present were: Mra. A. Johns, wearing a frock of black georget, with skirt inset with silver lace; Mrs. Humphrey Duder, ecru lace I over satin; Mrs. Harold Clay, black georgette, with silver embroideries; Mrs. Percy Coulthard, pastel rose chenille, with hem of gold tissue; Mrs. Pycroft, /black lace frock; Mrs. A. Jones, frock of silver lame and tulle; Mrs. Goudie, rose beige satin; Mrs. Vialoux, shell pink taffeta shot with gold; Miss G. Didsbury, leaf green georgette; Miss Potter, palest pink georgette, with green bands; Miss Jean Leyland, frock of black ring velvet, With pink flower at hip; Miss Sheila Nettleton, taffeta frock in black and pink; Miss A. Hynes, palest pink georgette; Miss Nancy Murray, gold; tissue and tulle; Miss Nora MacShane, leaf green beaded georgette; Miss Rita Hill, delphinium blue taffeta, with bouffant skirt; Miss Vipon, green lace and georgette; Miss J. Bi&s, almond green georgette; Mies Rona Anderson, palest green chenille and georgette; Miss W. Whitehead, rose taffeta frock; Miss Pfen•man,' lea:f green taffeta; Miss Dene •Plummejy j>ale. green ring velvet; Miss Betty. Buddie, white'satin and gold lace; Miss Jban;Stokes,'pink taffeta and tulle; Miss Sedgwick,- honey coloured taffeta; Miss Mabel Buckley, turquoise beaded georgette; Miss Nairn, pink georgette over .lime green; .Miss J.
