POULTRY SALE.
At yesterday's auctions the supply oi poultry was medium, and the demand fair. Selling rates were as follows:—Cockerels, heavy breeds, prime, 6/ to 7/6 each; not prime, 4/ to 4/6; light breeds, prime, 3/G to 5/; not prime, 3/ to 3/3. Fat roosters, heavy breeds, prime, 3/6 to 4/6; light breeds, 2/ to 3/. Fat hens, heavy breeds, 3/6 to 4/3; light breeds, 2/fi to 3/3. Laying hens, heavy breeds, 3/t» to 4/3; light breeds. 3/3 to 3/6. Ducl-'s, old, 2/3 to 2/9. Drakes, old. ,2/ to 2/3. Turkey hens, 4/6 to 7/; gobblers, 10/6 to 17/6. Cockerel chicks, heavy breeds, 4d to "J&d; light breeds, 3d to 4lid; day-old chicks, 8.0., OVid to 8d; Leghorns, SJ/2cl5 J /2cl to 6d.
