MISSING MEN.
."CELEBRATING BOAT RACE." HORORATA DELAYED. Although their vessel is now well on the way to New York, two members of the steamer Hororata's complement are still in Auckland—probably still celebrating their victory in the boat race against the Northumberland's crew yesterday afternoon. The Hororata was announced to sail for New York at daybreak to-day, and her crew, though rather exhausted by last night's celebrations, got aboard not unreasonably late. Two of the men, however, an engineer and a trimmer', were not "amongst those present," so' after a long wait, the vessel pulled out into the stream and the master went ashore to get substitutes. Another trimmer was signed on, and the seventh engineer of the Northumberland was transferred to make up the complement.
