FINAL MATCH TO-MORROW. PONSONBY AND MARIST. KEEN STRUGGLE ANTICIPATED. League football enthusiasts are anticipating a keen struggle at Carlaw Park to-morrow when Marist will clash with Ponsonby in the : final of the Roope Rooster competition. Ponsonby won the senior championship, but Marist have shown vastly improved'form of late, and a win to them to-morrow would not cause any great surprise. Ponsonby, as champions, are confident of putting a stop to the greens' run of successes, and in addition arc particularly • keen to relieve their rivals of the Roope trophy.
