POST-BOX ROBBERY.

MAN ADMITS GUILT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. The robbing of post-boxes in NeAV Plymouth, Stratford and Waitara' in the early part of August, when about 200 packets of mail matter were missed, was admitted in the Police Court to-day by Raymond Jack Vernon Elliott. He also admitted breaking and entering the premises of Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., at Waitara, and attempting to break and enter the premises of the Friendly Societies' Dispensary at Waitara on August 2. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Last Friday he was also committed for sentence on 17 charges of breaking, entering and theft in New Plymouth and Inglewood.
