IRIS RETURNED. HORORATA SAILS TO-MORROW The only overseas arrival at Auckland to-day was the cable steamer Iris, which returned from Norfolk Island after repairing the Pacific cable there. RARANGA TO LOAD. Now loading at southern ports, the Shaw, Snvill and Albion steamer Raranga is scheduled to return to Auckland on October 24 to fill up for Halifax and London. The Kartigi is due from Greymouth via New Plymouth at 5 p.m. to-day, and will discharge at the Prince's wharf. From here she is to return to Greymouth and Westport to load again for Auckland. The Kaitoke loads at Westport on Monday next for Auckland. The Waiplata left Wellington for Auckland at 10 p.m. yesterday. She is announced to leave Auckland next Tuesday for Wellington and Dunedin. The Kurow arrived this morning from Lyttelton and Picton, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail on Saturday for Lyttelton, Timaru and Bluff, omitting Wellington and Dunedin. The Kaituna was expected to clear Greymouth at 10.30 a.m. to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland.

The Canopus leaves Westport to-day and is due at Auckland on Sunday. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s rtwmer Hororata Is to sail at daybreak to morrow for New York, Boston, Halifax and London. KAIKORAI'S ITINERARY. The Union Co.'s steamer Kaikoral was expected to clear Weßtport at 10 a.m. to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland. After discharge here she is to go to Gladstone to load for Auckland. POOLTA FROM NEWCASTLE. TAIROA CLEARED BALBOA. ■Rn route from Liverpool, with general cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Talroa is reported to have cleared Balboa last Tuesday afternoon. She is due here on October 10. PAPANUI DUB TO-MORROW. Due at Auckland from Liverpool at midnight to-morrow, the Federal Bteamer Papanul will berth at the Queen's wharf on Saturday morning to commence discharge of her treneral cargo. Her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth.

WONGANELLA SOLD. The British steamer Wonganella has'been sold to Norwegian buyers. Built in 1004 for Scott Fell, Ltd., and used in the intercolonial trade, the Wonganella was then known as the Wonga Fell. When purchased by W. Crosby and Co., Ltd., the vessel was given her present name, and for some years has been i under charter to the British Phosphate Commission, and employed in the phosphate trade between Nauru-Ocean Island and Australia.
