SITE FOR THEATRE.

It is reported that negotiations are practically complete for the purchase of a hotel site in Broadway by the theatrical firm, which intends to erect a theatre running to King Street, witn an arcade from one street to the other. The theatre block will be of three storeys, and will include shops and offices. If there is no hitch in the arrangements the work of construction will be in hand in November.
The amount involved in the purchase of the site is about £100,000.
