FIRE AT OTAHUHU.
DAMAGE ONLY SLIGHT. Slight damage to one room was done by a liro which broke out about five o'clock yesterday afternoon in a shop and dwelling in Great South Road, Otahuhu, the property of Mrs. E. Wilkins. Tho Otahuhu brigade soon had the fire under control, and the only damage done was to the walls and. some bedding. The shop is occupied 'by Dr. 11. Hutton, a teacher of music. Alterations aro at present being made to the premises. TIMBER MILL DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Tuesday. The timber mill at Tapuwae owned by Mr. E. M. Edkins was wholly destroyed by fire yesterday. The mill was in process of being dismantled when the fire occurred.
