THE NEGOTIATIONS.
No Comment On AngloAmerican Parleys. BRITAIN'S CRUISER OFFER. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 10. Official circles decline to comment on the progress of the Anglo-American naval negotiations until America replies to Britain's proposals. There are hints, however, that it is correct that Britain has offered to limit her aggregate cruisers to 340,000 tons, leaving the
United States something between 295,000 and 305,000. It is denied that Britain has officially protested against Schearer's propaganda activities at the Geneva Naval Conference.
