Striking Pictorial Features. The extremely high standard of general interest for which the illustrations of tho "N.Z. Topical events in many parts of the Dominion combine with other subjects of outstanding excellence to make this week's edition a very attractive publication. Tho coloured frontispiece is devoted to a handsome picture of Miss Verner Wishart its Dolores in the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society's production of "Florodora." The Boy Scouts at Westminster Abbey, Schoolboys' Day at Bisley, tho Ashdown Forest pageant, yachting and seaside snapshots form the attractive centre pages. Of strong local interest are the series devoted to the Maungakiekio ladies' golf championships at Titirangi, the Gun Club's shoot at Panmure, Auckland v. Whangarei Rugby match, Inter-Island League match at Carlaw Park, and the N.Z. cross-country championships.
