OPEN RINKS TOURNEY. The Auckland Friendly Societies' open full rinks tourney was continued on Saturday last, when the section play was completed. The following teams qualify for intersection play on Die two-life system :—Victoria (A.0.F.), L.O.L. 10 (Orange Lodge), Eden (1.0. K.), Ilopo of Auckland (1.0.1t.), City of Auckland (A.0.F.), Birkenhcad F (A.0.F.), Nil Desperandum (A.0.F.), Gordon (1.0. R.). Play will take place at the Methodist Schoolroom, Great North Road, Grey Lynn, on Thursday, September 1!). commencing at 7.30 p.m. Through an oversight some members removed one-half set of eight brown bowls which belonged to another lodge. By communicating with Brn. Harris arrangements can be made to return the bowls. Visit to Helensville. For the visit to' Helensville on Saturday next, leaving Reservoir, Ponsonby, at 2 p.m., and Symonds Street, Reservoir, at 2.15 p.m., there is still room for members. Supplementary list closes Friday, 13tb, with Bro. Harris, 0. Albany Road.
