AMALGAMATED ENGINEERS.
THE NEW AWARD. CAUSES GRAVE DISSATISFACTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. It is reported that grave dissatisfaction exists among members of the Amalgamated Engineers Union with regard to provisions of the new award. A conference was held last night of representatives from all over New Zealand, and, as a result, a deputation will wait on the Ministry of Labour shortly.
