WHITE GIRL SOLD.
BOUGHT BACK BY SOLDIER. DISCOVERY IN PHILIPPINES. (Special Correspondence.) MANILA, August 3.' The first serious case of white slave traffic, in the Philippines was uncovered by the constabulary yesterday, when a girl fifteen years of age was reported sold at Angeles, Pampanga, for 23 pesos. The case was reported by a soldier who, to assist her in obtaining her freedam, bought her out of bondage for 60 pesos and brought her to constabulary headquarters in Manila. The insular officials are investigating the case.'
