MILNE AND CHOYCE'S SOCIAL.

The firm of Milne and Choyce, Ltd., gave the annual social and dance for their staff at Scots Hall last evening. The entrance was an avenue of palms, and the spacious supper room was decorated in crimson and gold streamers to form a 1 There Avero also trelliscd pagodas embellished with pussy willow, wattle and ferns, which made an attractive setting. The programme was arranged bv Mr. W. Sutherland, and ballets by 'Miss Iris Black. The conductor was Mr. Laurie Rasnmssen, and stage manager Mr. Cyril Olsen. Miss Esmie Cato was pianist, and the scenery was arranged by Miss Edith Sutherland. The stage settings equalled many professional entertainments. Miss Wagner wore a gold lace frock; Mrs. Fiaser, black chiffon and diamante. The committee consisted of Mrs. Wilson, Miss Campion, Miss R. Walmsley, Miss Bell, Miss Massev, Miss- Turner, Miss Cato, Mr. Vivian Choyce Mr. Cyril Olsen, Mr. Victor Smith, Mr. Daly, Mr. D. Smith, Mr. H. Sutherland. Those assisting in the programme were: Milne and Choyce's House Orchestra, Misses Iris Black, Mabel Smith, Rewa Walmsley, Goodwin, Russell, Bell, Gertie Bell, Doris Power, Veda Crammond, Mrs. Wilson, Messrs.
