CATHOLIC STUDENTS' DANCE.
Softly shaded lights, streamers and masses of greenery made a charming' setting for the.pretty frocks worn at the dance held in the Symondsville Cabaret last evening by the members of the Catholic Students' Guild. On the supper tables down stairs spring llowers were used with artistic eii'ect. . There was a large attendance and things went with a swing from start to finish, excellent music being supplied by Mr, L Adam's orchestra. The hostess'and members of the committee wore: Mrs. VV. Scholium, who wore a frock of black beaded georgette; Mrs. Cyril Towseyj black crepe lie chine worked in fine gold thread; Mrs. T. J. Buxton, black georgette and lace; Miss Peggy Flynn, lloral chiffon in toiics of russet and green; Miss Eileen Crecdon, rose georgette and tulle; Miss Audrey Gray, leaf green georgette with orange shaded shawl; Miss VV. Cooke, lemon satin frock; Miss Kate Hackett, moss green satin; Miss Viva Lawes, powder blue georgette; Amongst those present were: Miss, F. Johansen, amethyst georgette with large tule bow on hip; Miss M. Jones, gold lace over mauve; Miss Marie Drysdalc, leaf green crepe de chine; Miss L. Drysdale, rose pink taffeta with hem of gold lace; Miss Maureen Abbott, leaf green georgette with lace hem and girdle of diamante; Miss Moya Hawkins, primrose taffeta; Miss M. Tyler, delphinium blue diamante and georgette; Miss 0. Driscoll, black and rose taffeta; Miss McCarthy, lavender diamante and georgette; Miss N. Eeid, palest pink geor-
gette beaded in crystal; Miss Moira Clarke jade velvet with skirt of tulle; Miss M. lieid, lacquer' red georgette with crystal and rhinestono embroideries; Miss E.
