LEGAL COSTS.
CITY TRAMWAYS' TRANSFER.
BILL FOR NEARLY £1500.
Accounts in connection with legal services for the transfer of the city tramway undertaking from the corporation to the Auckland Transport Board were placed before the board this morning.
These showed that the total amount of the costs was £1491. For this transfer the services of two firms had been engaged. The sum of £1058 had been paid to Messrs. Nicholson, Gribbin, Rogerson and Nicholson, and £432 to Mr. J. Stanton, city solicitor.
