BAKING POWDER.
Mis well 2oz and one teaspoonful carbonate soda, 2oz tartaric acid, and 2oz rice flour. Then rub through a fine sieve several times to take out the lumps. Put in a bottle or jelly jar, and keep for use. Another Method. Take 40.5 each carbonate soda and cream of tartar, loz tartaric acid, and half a breakfast cup ground rice flour. Mix* all ingredients well together, then sift through a fine sieve. Bottle and tie down thoroughly airtight.
