SOUTH AUCKLAND TOURNEY.
The South Auckland tournament will be played on St. Andrews links at Hamilton on October 3, 4 and 5. On the opening day the Waikato championship will be decided over 30 holes in conjunction with two 18-hole stroke handicaps. The .first sixteen without handicap in these two events qualify for the South Auckland championship, which will be carried on for the ensuing two days, in conjunction with medal and bogey handicaps, and also the St. Andrews match.

HAMILTON, this day. The final' of the Douglas Cup competition was played yesterday, Miss Dawson defeating Mrs. J. Templer; 5 and 4.
TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB,
The best scores for the L.G.TT. handicap played by the Titlrangl Ladies' Club.were as follow:—Seniors: Mrs. K. L.. Wilson, Ss—8 —77 : Miss G. Easton, 09 —19 —80 ; Miss A. Hill, 99—17—82. Juniors: Mrs. Spinley, 107—31—76; Miss .Toplin, 112— 33—79; Miss Moody, 110 —30—80. The third round of the handicap match pJay event resulted as follows: —Mrs. Ferguson defeated Miss. Hill. S and 2: Miss Grove defeated. Miss K. Horton, 2 and 1; Mrs. Hoskinsr defeated Mrs. Robinson. 1 up; Mrs. Norton defeated Mrs. McMillan, 1 up. The sceond round of the eclectic match will be played next Thursday. '■■
