WINTER SHOW PROFITS.
LAST .YEAR'S RETURNS EQUALLED. A profit equal to that of last year 'was' made by the Winter Exhibition. At last, night's meeting of the Auckland A-- and P. Association it was reported by the secretary (Mr. W. F. O'Donncll) that a first payment of £750 had been made to each association, and that .there would be from £200 to £250 further available for each, niiikihg the net profit approximately the same as that of 1928: It was decided to form a committee to consider the promotion of calf clubs; The'following organisations-will be represented: Association council With six ;delegates and one each from the Farmers' Union, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Manufacturers' Association, dairy producers, Education Board, Agricultural Department, and one each from the breed .associations.. ... ... The association cduricil's delegates were elected as follow: Messrs. E- .D. McLenna,u, S. H., Barton, S. Hamlin, ,A. C. Trousdale, J"., Meyer and A. J. Stratford. ' !i;i The proposals for the registration of side showmen, as presented to the Auckland Provincial Council, were adopted.
