MUSEUM PLANTING.
It is inconceivable that the City Council should have passed without comment the suggestion to plant exotics anywhere near the surroundings of what can only be considered as a national war memorial, anil the matter should certainly be brought up and stoppud at the first opportunity. It is to be hoped that those who agree 011 the question of the ■ deplorable action in not planting "natives" will voice their opinions and let the council know what the general feeling 011 the subject is.
